It’s no secret that archival revivals are all the rage best now, and that goes for your favorite TV shows as well. From the Gossip girl reboot to the just-released sequel to Sex and the City, and just like That, the late 2010s and early 2020s have really been all about what’s old is new again. perfectly primed for a revival, the renowned Purple sequin Fendi Baguette that was first seen on Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City and then revived when the Baguette returned in 2019 is, in fact, back once again.
Though we can’t speak on the reboot details (or won’t rather, as our jaws are still on the floor), we can tell you that the unmissable purple sequin Fendi Baguette makes an appearance in episode 3. Apparently, like any good fashionista, Carrie knows that what goes around certainly comes back around, hanging on to her Baguette for over 2 decades!
The original was first introduced in Fendi’s Fall/Winter 1999-2000 collection, but today we’ve got the news that it is back once again, for a limited run! It is embroidered with all-over purple sequins of varying shapes and sizes to create a cool 3D effect. It is finished with the renowned FF clasp that unmistakably makes the Baguette. Remember, “it’s not a bag; it’s a Baguette.” It has one internal compartment with a zippered pocket and can be carried by hand or worn either on the take on or cross-body thanks to the leather deal with and take on strap, both of which are detachable. This is one both Fendi, and pop-culture lovers won’t want to miss.
